Annual allowed rated logging volume for the region is 81.9 million m3 (52.4 million m3  – softwood – 64%), including 24.6 million m3 of rated logging (20.9 million m3 for softwood) in hard-to-reach areas (Evenkiysky and Turukhansky District).

The Region has leased 25.6 million m3  (19.7 million m3 – softwood)  of annual rated logging or 31.2 % of annual rated logging for the Region.

Currently 19 out of 61 forest areas enjoy free softwood rated logging that will not allow to forecast the forest plots for logging. Moreover, due to active logging (in previous periods), natural factors (forest fires, hazardous organisms focus), and current lease the available forest area is mainly in local segmented and scattered forest plots.

We have already identified the total additional requirement in timber for Krasnoyarsk for existing and new companies in the amount of 13.65 million m3. The new priority projects account for million m3.
